About Paleo

Paleo cooking sticks to whole, unprocessed foods. That means meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds. Grains, dairy, legumes and refined sugar are left out.

Cooks use almond flour, coconut milk, olive oil and sweet potatoes. Honey or maple syrup may be used in small amounts. Unlike keto, paleo allows fruit and starchy vegetables, and unlike vegan it centers on animal foods.

Questions folks ask

Is dairy allowed in paleo?

Usually not. Most paleo recipes skip dairy.

Is paleo the same as keto?

No. Paleo allows fruit and starchy vegetables, while keto keeps carbs very low.
